AC Bypass - SR-BP

AC Bypass - SR-BP device designed for cooperation with dimmer modules from Sunricher.

The SR-BP bypass should be used in case of connecting some LED bulbs or energy saving compact fluorescent lamps to the dimmer. The Bypass prevents flickering of the LED lights and glowing of the turned OFF compact fluorescent lamps.
In the case of 2-wire connection, the Bypass allows to reduce minimum power of load required by the dimmer for correct operation so long the electronics of the dimmer or switch is powered by one wire coming from the mains supply plus one wire that comes from the load itself. This means that even when the load is turned off a small current runs tru the load tin order to power the units electronic. This small current can cause a small load (e.g. a LED bulb) to flicker even when powered off. The Bypass provides powering of the dimmer in case of controlling the low loads of minimum power down to 3W (for cosφ>0.5).

Note! It is possible to Dim only light sources that is clearly marked as "Dimmable".
