A single press of the Heart Pendant’s button can trigger a series of events: the alarm unit sounds a siren built into the console, then dials up to preset phone numbers, then plays a prerecorded message and flashes optional X-10 controlled lights for a visual alert. A person receiving a call can then activate the built in microphone and listen in. At that point the siren stops and the receiver can hear through the microphone what is going on. The Heart Pendant is water resistant, so it can be worn in the shower or bath.
